CITY FOUNDATION

Since our 2016 inception, we have persevered despite many challenges, we remain by the grace of God. Our philosophy of ministry is that spiritual maturity is the fundamental objective of ministry and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the primary source of all spiritual growth and edification. To minister successfully to the public, all leaders who have a burden for ministry must be the recipient of the conviction of Christ and His tender mercies. Our mission is to assist others of all races and nations in the journey toward spiritual growth. We believe that the truth of the Word must be distributed unwaveringly. We must be careful not to fail to avoid addressing critical issues to the believers knowing that healthy confrontation and dialogue brings about a clear conscious and faithful witness.

THE CITY OF REFUGE CONCEPT

We attack the streets and keep the ministry where the people are by offering not only physical resources but human resources as well! We do not follow a traditional church building concept but seek to use innovative and conventional methods to build believers who may feel isolated, threatened or out of place in traditional church settings. Specifically, rather than ministering to the poor, we tend to organize them into viable communities. Because the Lord has used us in a mighty way in the past to build a diverse ministry, The refuge aspect of the ministry provides spiritual support to those in need and ministers the graces and mercies of Jesus Christ to those to whom He has designated them. All believers are citizens of the City and are eligible for participation in all activities as designated by the Holy Spirit. The city concept is one of fellowship and belonging. The city is a place of instruction, fellowship, love and accountability. In the bible six cities were designated for those to flee who had been accused of crimes and subject to unjust actions on the part of others. Our city is similar in that it provides a place of sanctuary for those people fleeing the typical, traditional style of doing church and are looking for a stress free, friendly and devoted group of believers who have organized for the express purpose of being a light to each other.  We believe, teach and preach the Gospel and that we are saved by Jesus’ life, death, burial, and resurrection and that Jesus Christ is our Savior.
