Minister Maurice J. Goode
Minister Maurice J. Goode was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 21, 1961. He attended Most Precious Blood Catholic Preparatory School and graduated from Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical High School.
He continued to practice his Catholic faith until he moved to Montgomery, AL in 1991. In 1992, he came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He then gave his life to Christ and became a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
In 1995, while in Pensacola, FL at Brownsville Assembly of God Church, he accepted God’s calling upon his life into the ministry. “Praise God the Lord didn’t leave me the way and where He found me. I was wounded and wrapped up in the world. I was blind and now I see. The Lord has blessed me to be a Blessing He has made me whole; He has made me free so that I can make a difference in the lives of His people.”
Philosophy of Ministry
We are to rise and stand on our feet for the purpose of ministry. We are to minister and be a witness of the Word of Jesus Christ. To open the peoples’ eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to the glory of God. Minister to them that they may receive forgiveness of sins and by faith in Jesus Christ receive an inheritance. {Based on Acts 26:15-18}
